ERNET India has initiated connectivity of remote Vidyalayas under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for providing Internet access and for strengthening their computer education program. To enhance the computer skills of the children with disabilities ERNET India had setup 50 ICT Vocational centres have been across the country for the disabled students with special IT assistive tools and technologies. Next 50 centres are being set up in the 2nd half of 2010-11.Each of these countries is being equipped with computers, assistive tools, internet & intranet access, applications and appropriate contents. ERNET India will set up ICT infrastructure in 247 schools in rural areas of Ajmer, Rajasthan.
